Pavement rehabilitation is the backbone of urban resilience — ensuring roads, transit corridors, and industrial surfaces meet long-term performance and safety standards. In the GTA, this work demands adherence to multiple overlapping standards: MTO specifications, CSA A23.1, ASTM, and OBC.

As a Field Inspector at Engtec Consulting Inc., I perform on-site testing and inspection for industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) projects across the Greater Toronto Area. My scope spans asphalt density verification, concrete placement inspection, aggregate sampling, and soil compaction testing.

Key engagements include the Hurontario LRT corridor — one of Ontario's major transit capital projects — and multiple Region of York arterial road rehabilitation contracts, where precision and speed of testing are critical to minimising contractor downtime.
